Kiwanis International focuses on changing the world by serving children, one child and one community at a time. Our local chapter is dedicated to serving the children, families and the community of Moorpark. The proceeds from this event provide funding for our numerous service projects.
The Kiwanis Club of Moorpark sponsors the Terrific Kids program at local elementary schools. Terrific Kids is a student recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem and perseverance. We support the Moorpark food pantry, Veterans Day and Memorial Day observances, school and public libraries, school music programs, the military banner program, the USPS Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Day, and a variety of other community projects. We are hands-on wherever we are needed.
This is a ticketed event, with approximately 200 guests expected, including civic group leaders, local officials, and people who love wine and want to give something back to the community. We hope you will consider helping our community by participating in this event.
